President-Elect Donald Trump has appointed some of the best and brightest brains in the world to be on his Economic Advisory team to "Make America Great again". He appointed multibillionaires and the CEO's of fortune 500 companies such as Boeing, Walmart, JP Morgan Chase amongst others. Of the over dozen Presidential appointments, Ondo state born Nigerian businessman Bayo Ogunlesi an Oxford and Harvard graduate who is the CEO and Founder of multibillion dollar company Global Infrastructure Partners made the list. He is also the only black man in the Advisory Committee whose father was the first Professor of Medicine in Nigeria. According to Bloomberg he is worth an estimated $900 million dollars.

Nigerian prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of nations (SCOAN), has predicted that Hillary Clinton will win the US presidential election in a "narrow victory" against her Republican rival Donald Trump. TB Joshua's declaration came as the world's attention focused on the contentious US elections slated for Tuesday November 8. More than 30 million votes have been cast already across 38 states in early voting in the ongoing 2016 U.S. election with four days into the Nov. 8 elections. Early voting data from several battleground states showed that Democrats are building an early voting lead in North Carolina and Nevada. However, Republicans maintain an edge in Florida and Ohio as well as in Arizona, while Democrats are also ahead in Colorado and Iowa, according to a CNN/Catalist polls. Both Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump are encouraging their supporters to hit the polls early. So far, about 7.4 million registered Democrats and about 6.4 million Republicans have done just that. Heading into the final days of the presidential campaign, the race has settled back into a tight contest, with Hillary Clinton holding an edge over Donald J, according to New York Times. The Clinton campaign has blasted FBI Director James Comey for “blatant double standards” over the new inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s email use. The comments came after US media reports that Mr Comey had urged against publicly accusing Russia of interfering in the US election, including alleged email hacking. Mr Comey’s concern about releasing the information was due to the proximity to the election, reports say. The FBI declined to comment to the BBC. The statement that Mr Comey reportedly declined to sign off on was released by the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on 7 October. “The US intelligence community is confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of emails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organisations… these thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process,” it said. According to Sky News, the FBI has opened a new investigation into Hillary Clinton's personal emails following the discovery of additional messages. The director of the FBI, James Comey, said they will examine whether the new emails contain classified information. In a letter to key Republican committee chairman in the House of Representatives and Senate, he added he cannot tell whether they "may be significant" or how long it will take to review them." The FBI spent about a year looking into her use of an unauthorised private email sever for her work as US secretary of state between 2009 and 2013, after it emerged there were classified government secrets in some of her emails. In July, it announced its investigation was finished.

Remember it was reported here yesterday that Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of fame was vandalized, it seems the Republican presidential candidate need not worry. According to reports: It will cost thousands to repair Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Leron Gubler, the president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, told ABC News. This afternoon, with the repairs under way, Gubler told ABC News that it will cost between $3,000 and $10,000 to fix the damage. “It’s mostly the cost of the labor,” Gubler explained. “The stars are composed of the brass symbols and the terrazzo is concrete with marble chips, so it’s a process. In the home stretch of the general election season, Hillary Clinton maintains a slight lead over her opponent, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, according to a poll published Wednesday. Fox News is out with a national poll of likely voters, finding that among them, Clinton leads with a three-point margin, 44 percent to 41 percent. About 10 percent back a third-party candidate, while 4 percent remain undecided. Clinton’s lead has narrowed from her advantage in recent weeks. Last week, Clinton was up by six points (45 to 39 percent), and in the week before that, the Democratic nominee was up by seven (45 to 38 percent). The shift away from Clinton could be the result of Independent voters, who favor Trump to Clinton by 13 points, 41 to 28 percent. Last week, Trump’s lead among Independents amounted to seven points. In this poll, Gary Johnson takes 14 percent of the Independent voters, with Jill Stein at 7 percent.
