Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has told the club's captain Wayne Rooney to look elsewhere if he wants to continue to play first team football. With Rooney rumoured to be linked to a £500,000-a-week deal in China worth over £80million, this might be the time for the veteran forward to move on. You never know what might happen, only time will tell.

Wayne Rooney clocks 31 today. The Manchester United and England Captain started his career at Everton before moving to Manchester United for £25.6 million in 2004. He is currently the club's second top goalscorer of all time with 246 goals, he also holds the record for most goals for one Premier League club with 179 for Manchester United. He has won the Premier League 5 times, the UEFA Champions League once, the FIFA Club World Cup once, the FA Community Shield four times, the League Cup twice and the FA cup once. He is also England's all time record goal scorer with 53 goals in 118 matches. Happy birthday to the legend!
