Umbro, who make Chapecoense's strip, are struggling to keep up with demand- one of the local factories does not have enough 'Chapecoense green' fabric to make jerseys for all the Brazilian clubs requesting commemorative editions ahead of the final game of the season. Umbro acknowledged that demand for the shirts was high as football fans around the world showed their solidarity with the team. Only three Chapecoense players survived the crash on the eve of their now-cancelled Copa Sudamericana final against local side Atletico Nacional. UK-based Umbro said it was looking for ways to handle the demand for Chapecoense shirts.

US Election: Eight things to know.

Image
Ratings through the roof 2008 holds the record for the biggest TV audience of any presidential election ever: 71.5 million people tuned in to see the networks call it for Barack Obama. This year, with the future of liberal western democracy hanging in the balance, expect that many and more. Most. Tweets. Ever. This year's town hall-style second presidential debate was the most-tweeted debate to date, with more than 17 million microblogs posted during the 90 minute-clash between Clinton and Trump. Expect the social network's servers to be ablaze again on election night. Voter suppression Trump has been complaining that the election is "rigged" (he said the same thing about the Emmys) but it's Republicans whom the courts have faulted for their efforts to influence the vote. A federal appeals court recently blocked a voter ID law in North Carolina, saying it would wipe black voters from the rolls "with almost surgical precision". On Friday, a ju...

Another alleged victim, known only as Michael, spoke exclusively to Sky News and described Anglesea as "a tyrant, a bully and a predator". The former care home resident travelled to North Wales to see Anglesea caged and described how powerful the abuser was back in the 1980s. Michael said: "He was the police, he was Gordon Anglesea and now he is just a prisoner ... good riddance to him." Anglesea's recent trial centred on two other men who explained how they had been abused - one described being "passed around like a handbag" by a group of powerful men. In a police interview one of them said Anglesea's job ensured they could never speak out. The victim told investigators from the National Crime Agency (NCA): "Who can you trust? You can't ...
