Man dies on a construction site in Australia after being crushed by a boom lift.


A worker has died on a construction site at South Wharf, Australia, according to a report by Herald Sun
Emergency services were called to the industrial site. The 54-year-old man was understood to be operating the boom lift when he was crushed.


He was an employee of Sunshine-based company Stilcon working on the construction site operated by Probuild.
Probuild is constructing the $300 million expansion of Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre, incorporating a hotel and multi-storey car park to the existing facilities.
