RASHIDI YEKINI: Tribute to a legend.

     Today we remember one of the pioneers of African football, Rashidi Yekini as we celebrate a legend on his 53rd posthumous birthday.
      One of the greatest strikers to ever grace African football, Yekini played for several clubs during his career, including: Shooting Stars, Abiola Babes, Africa Sports, Vitoria Setúbal, Olympiacos, Sporting Gijon and others.
      He scored 37 goals for Nigeria and he is the leading goal-scorer. He represented the country in five major tournaments. In 1993, he was named the African Footballer of the Year.
