However it was Guardiola, who has now gone on his worst ever run of six games without a win who went home as the loser in the tense derby.

On the other hand, West Ham overpowered Chelsea to claim a spot in the EFL Cup quarterfinals. Goals from Kouyaté and Fernande's were enough to see away the blues as Bilic's men keep their hopes of a silverware alive.
